‘Tis the season for those yearly family photos! No matter the holiday you celebrate, it’s a great reminder to capture the growth and love between your favorite people. Our sessions are always personal and on-location depending the wishes and inspiration each client has. And as such, we do not offer 'mini-sessions’ or backdrop set-ups. When shooting in an un-posed, candid manner, those set-ups are too constrained, and our style does not coincide. Lighting is ever-changing, the exploration that happens with children is unpredictable and amazing to witness, and the vision that my clients and myself find along the way is organic and unique. It’s that up-close (though 6 ft away;) and personal vibe that our photos thrive off. And like this family who wanted a Christmas feel, that too can be accomplished with wardrobe, utilizing the right backdrop and colors, and when we get lucky…stumbling upon a perfectly decorated Christmas scene.
