These little darlings are my favorite!! [And yes, they’re mine;]

This is us - the Prisbys. We are adventurous and goofy, on-the-move and loving. It’s not easy to photograph yourself, but we make it work. Yearly photos are important to me, since I have to admit that even as a photographer most of our photos are shot on an iPhone. Yes, my husband hates photoshoot day more than any other, just like all your husbands, but he humors me - and of course the kids have meltdowns in between takes, but we just keep exploring + distracting ourselves into new moments:)

We held this photojournalistic session at Jonathan Dickinson State Park since that’s where we lived for our first month in Florida after our 3-month long cross-country camping trip. That was 2 years ago and none of the kids remembered it, so it was fun to explore all over again. It’s one of the best natural beauties this state has to offer with the never-ending golden and sunset hours, the native foliage and silver sawgrass, and the highest elevation south of Okeechobee. Put it on your list of must-sees for sure!
